(2017) Life-long career in Christian education serving two great congregations, one in MN and now in CO. Still not ready to retire. Married for 42 years. Two children, 4 grandchildren. Remembering fondly several high school friends. Sad to read how many are now with the Lord. Cherish each day and use the gifts God gave you in thanks living.

Yowza - fifty years soon! I'm not sure if I feel too young for that or feel every year of the time that's passed.

I got married in 1990 after a very long single life. My husband Lance and I have two sons - Andrew and Nathaniel - keeping us young. Our older son graduated from college in 2014 and now teaches English in Japan. Our younger guy graduates in 2016. It seems our lives have been shaped by our kids in so many ways. Looking forward to that 50th reunion!

How quickly the years have flown! I'm not sure who that person is that is looking back at me in the mirror...sure don't feel like I've aged that much.
My four kids have all grown-up and moved away (at least they're still close) so I'm an empty-nester (except for Tigger and Peanut, my cats.) My life has been extremely blessed with my eight grandchildren, who I'm very fortunate to spend lots of time with.
I've worked for Target for 25 years now, currently in the Global Trade Services area. I passed my brokers exam in 2004 and earned my BA in International Non-profit Business in 2006 (yep, finally had time to

"The last 10 years have been very inspiring. Dale and I celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary this year. Through the past several years, we've had the best time traveling with my nephew and niece. The 4 of us are pals and love doing things together. The opportunities we had were wonderful and we were able to take up on most of them. I even had Lasik surgery and a cochlear implant! Both have been successful and wonderful changes. We have had some health challenges in the past few years, but we still feel blessed. Married to Dale. What a life!"

Hello fellow Robins of 1967! I recently retired after 40 years as an ELCA pastor, with my last call at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Two Harbors, MN, (yes, I actually became a pastor). My wife Betty and I have three adult children and five grandchildren. My hobbies include archery and occasional naps. I graduated from Augsburg College and Luther Seminary with fellow Robbin Kent Grosser (we've been classmates from Kindergarten through Seminary). I'm looking forward to touring our old high school and seeing old friends.

I went to St. Cloud for 1 year then transferred to U of M for 1 year. I then was a flight attendant for Northwest Airlines for 2 1/2 years. I've been married for 36 years and have one daughter. We have wonderful son-in-law and two beautiful grandchildren. My husband and I are retired and spend our summers in Maine (where our kids live) and the winters in San Diego. Life is good!

Married to Earl; 1 child; 2 grandkids.

I am happily married to my loving husband of 48 years. We have two adult sons and two daughters-in-law, who reside in the Twin Cities.

My 90-year old spunky mother still lives in Robbinsdale and has been blessed with good health and a positive attitude. I do enjoy visiting her. She has a delightful sense of humor and never forgets to show her appreciation of even the smallest things friends and family do for her.

After living in the Minnetonka area for over 40 years, it was our 3-year old granddaughter who so lovingly persisted in convincing us to move closer to her.

We moved to Maplewood in Dec 2016 and are reaping the benefits of being 3 miles from our only grandchild compared to the previous 30 VERY LONG,SLOW, miles across town! Haven't regretted the move for a minute...why didn't we move sooner? Guess it sometimes takes the wisdom of a child!

Nancy G. Weflen, of Maplewood, formerly of Minnetonka, passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on July 29th at the age of 69. She graduated from Robbinsdale High School and the University of Minnesota. While a student at the University of Minnesota she met and married her husband, Craig, the love of her life. After graduating, Nancy taught elementary school until their first child was born. She devoted her life to being a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She was known for her beautiful smile, gentle nature, and kindness. Nancy regularly volunteered at church, and she taught Sunday School for many years where the little children adored her. Children always felt her love and immediately bonded with her. For the past six years, granddaughter Macy has shared a precious relationship with Grandma Nancy, delighting in their identical youthful spirit and enjoying cherished quiet moments as well as exuberant bursts of energy together. Their unmistakable connection brought smiles all around, and those memories will live on forever.

Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Rolland Peterson. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Craig; sons, Matt (Jill), Mike (Christy); granddaughter, Macy; her mother, Darlene Peterson; brother, David (Linda) Peterson; sisters, Karen (John) Carlson and Marnee (Bob) Jakowski; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives & friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church, 1669 Arcade St. N, Saint Paul. Visitation will be Monday, August 5, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A memorial service will take place Tuesday, August 6 at 11:00 AM, with Visitation beginning at 10:00 AM and luncheon to follow. Memorials preferred to Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church. The family sends a sincere and heartfelt thanks to the caregivers and staff at the University of Minnesota Medical Center and St. Therese at St. Odilia, especially nurses Ashley and Bernie, who gave Nancy and her family such tender care and comfort at the end of her journey.

Since high school, I graduated from the U. of M. in education, got married (36 years), had 4 boys and 2 grandchildren. I am currently a Training Technician with the USPS.
My fondest memories of high school are pep fests and friday night football games. The trip (National Honor Society) to New York and Washington D.C. was a highlight and great memory of my senior year.

Married to Larry; 4 kids, 2 grandkids.

So, now most of us have retired (we never thought we'd get there, did we?)
I'm living in a beach community right next to St. Petersburg, FL. I'm sure a few of you have visited the St. Pete/Tampa/Clearwater area. 3 kids and 5 grandkids (all out of state, unfortunately) still keep me busy.

Tom's obituary as follows

Thomas Wayne Peterson, 72, of Madeira Beach, Florida died July 5th, 2022.
Tom was born in Minneapolis, MN to Wayne and Priscilla Peterson.

He graduated from Robbinsdale High School in Minnesota and was nominated by Senator Walter Mondale to attend West Point, United States Military Academy. He graduated in 1971, went on to serve in the Army and separated as a Captain in 1979 where upon he moved to Florida.

While at West Point, Tom lettered in baseball and football. During a football game, he suffered a tough knee injury and almost lost his leg. This injury would shape his life and reveal a man who never complained about his pain. He continued to be devoted to the Black Knights (Beat Navy!) and provided post-game analysis to his classmates and was a guest on a Black Knights football podcast.

Tom had many nicknames…Petey, Leader Tom, Coach, Tommy, Tommy Tunes, Pops and Poo Poo.

Tom was an avid hobbyist that included but not limited to shooting, softball and hitting club. He volunteered at the Bay Pines Veteran’s Administration Hospital as an escort, even during the middle of a hurricane. Tom was a member of the Rough Riders fraternal organization and loved being the DJ on their parade float. He was an avid music and trivia lover and combined those things by hosting a Name That Tune quiz weekly on his Facebook page.

Tom is survived by his sisters Sonja (Mike) Christenson, with nephew Ryan and niece Cara and Mary (Dave) Loija, with nephew Jesse. He also remained close to his ex-wife and mother of his children, Sheryl Peterson.

Finally, he was an avid lover of his kids and grandkids. Tom is survived by his kids Thomas “Cass” Peterson, Lindsay (Guy) Clanton and Leah (James) Cade. He considered his greatest blessing to be a grandfather known as Poo Poo to Laura, Caroline and Lizzie Clanton and James and Lily Cade.

Tom will be forever in our hearts and deeply missed.

His Memorial Service will take place at Serenity Funeral Home on Sunday, July 10th, 2022 at 2pm.

Flowers are appreciated, and please consider making a donation to the Disabled Veterans of America in honor of Tom.

Mostly status quo--I lost my mom to cancer in May. I'm losing hair daily. I'm starting to lose interest in my job. But, I'm wild about snow skiiing, scuba diving and kayaking (and my family, of course). My gratitude to all of you who make our reunions successful.

I moved back to Robbinsdale July 1, 2009, right on Twin Lake, it's a wonderful place, I brought my dog, we have plenty of wildlife here, deer, rabbits, geese, ducks, chipmunks, fish, turtles. I can go fishing from shore.
August 23rd 2009, my second grandson was born, it's great to be a grandma again.
In September 2007 my husband of 37 years died. That is why I wasn't at the 40th Class Reunion in October 2007. My philosophy on life--Life is short, you can make it easy or hard. Never look back, you can't change it, look forward, do the best you can, never do harm to anyone, spend quality time with family and friends. Save the environment and energy resources for our children and grandchildren and those to come. They will all need it. Life is what you make it.

Married to James; 3 children; 4 grandchildren.

I thought I would provide a 2022 update. As noted earlier, I received two professional degrees from the University of Minnesota: Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Architecture degrees. In 2003, I sold my partnership in an international architectural firm of nearly 250 architects and interior designers where I served as a managing partner. We had many name-brand and household entities as clients. Walt Disney Studios was one that positioned us well in the entertainment industry and Grand Casino/Hilton Corp in the gaming sector. Also of great interest to me was working with Mercedes-Benz Corporate, completing the Sears Mercedes-Benz Dealership renovation in Minnetonka. I recently contracted with a small national firm that, among other market sectors, focuses on athletic architecture. We have completed many hockey arenas in the Midwest region and have been involved with the Minnesota Wild, St. Louis Blues, Phoenix Coyotes, and the new Anaheim Ducks complex that was completed in the Fall of 2018. Locally, we completed the Shakopee Ice Arena, Andover and Elk River Ice Arena complexes (among 50 other arenas in the state). I retired from practice in 2021 and maintain my license. My daughter practices in Behavioral Psychology and my son is a Mechanical Engineer in Des Moines. My wife is at a St.Paul law firm. After 26 years, I resigned my membership and Board position at Town and Country Club and joined Stillwater Country Club (also private) eight years ago. I have been on the Board of Trustees and Chaired the Facilities Committee at Hill-Murray School. Jane and I have been blessed with an active family life in the Stillwater area and very successful careers.

I retired from the aerospace industry in April.I've been married for 47 years (to the same women no less). We've been living in Southern California for the most part with a two-year stint in Seattle in the early '80's working for Boeing and a seven year detour to Silicon Valley from '96 to '03 working for Lockheed-Martin. I mostly screw around with old cars and fly for fun.

40 Years!! We aren't even that old are we?? Time sure has
flown by. I am married to Dick and have two children.
Between us we have eight grandchildren. I worked at Honeywell right after graduating 'til I had my daughter. Worked at Golden Valley Bank for 10 years. I am now at Boston Scientific and have been there for 20 years. On second marriage of 28 years. One of my funniest memories is our train trip after graduation. I was in the restroom with a bunch of girls and someone asked me to hold a bottle of booze for a minute. Well
